Assist with the preparation of financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements.
Maintain and update accounting records and files.
Post transactions and categorize records in the general ledger (e.g., by assets, liabilities, and expenses).
Process invoices, payments, and expense reports.
Reconcile bank statements and company accounts.
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
Assist with payroll preparation and related record-keeping.
Handle confidential information responsibly.
Assist in preparing tax filings and audits.
Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and responding to vendor or client inquiries.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Proven experience as an accounting assistant or in a similar role is a plus.
Basic understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel); familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) is an advantage.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
