We are a well-established property law firm based in Australia, committed to delivering reliable and efficient legal services to our clients.

As we continue to grow, we are expanding our team and looking for a detail-oriented Trust Accountant based in the Philippines to support our finance operations.


Role Overview

The Trust Accountant will be primarily responsible for managing and recording trust account transactions in accordance with Australian trust accounting regulations.

You will work closely with our legal and finance teams to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.


  • Monitor daily trust account transactions and maintain accurate records
  • Record all trust receipts and payments in accordance with trust account guidelines
  • Reconcile trust accounts and resolve any discrepancies promptly
  • Ensure compliance with Australian trust accounting regulations and firm policies
  • Prepare trust account reports as needed for internal use and external audits
  • Communicate regularly with the Australian finance and legal teams
  • Support general finance-related tasks when required

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in legal or trust accounting
  • Familiarity with Australian accounting or legal environments is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Xero, LEAP, or similar)
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
